Bingen upon Rhine in Deutschland
A town in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, 26 000 inabitants, 27 km west from Mainz, subscribed on the list of UNESCO world heritage, location of wine festivals, Saint Roche, jazz and fireworks on Rhine. Famous castles above the Rhine Gorge and on the rock a famous statue of the girl Loreley luring sailors with her singing. Reference in German literature – poet Heinrich Heine.
Stamford in England
A town in the county of Lincolnshire, 20 600 inhabitants, subscribed on the list of UNESCO historical and cultural world heritage, medieval timber constructions and churches, most houses built during 17th and 18th centuries in Georgian style. Often used as a location for filming, the last one “Pride and Prejudice“ based on a famous novel by Jane Austen.
Eger in Hungary
A town in the North of Hungary in Heves county, 49 000 inhabitants, subscribed on the UNESCO list of historical and cultural heritage. Medieval castle, historical listed monuments of baroque style and also from the times of Ottoman supremacy, very popular with tourists for its mineral springs and spa as well. The biggest Beatles Museum and the only one in Central Europe dedicated to the famous band, Astronomical Museum, and National Museum of Wine.
Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic
A town in Central Bohemia, 22 000 inhabitants, urban preservation area, subscribed on the UNESCO list of historical and cultural heritage in 1995, this year celebrating 30th anniversary in UNESCO. Thanks to rich silver deposits and mining peaking from the 13th to 15th centuries Kutna Hora was the second most important medieval royal towns after Prague in lands of the Czech Crown.
